NorEats brings together the food and drink the fine city of Norwich has to offer, from coffee shops to gin joints, cafes to swanky restaurants.

Before I left London, I had an extensive hit list of restaurants to try. I’ve written about my favourites before, but I didn’t actually make it through them all…and now I’ve got a whole new list to get through.

Since I last lived here properly, eight years ago, Norwich has gone through a massive amount of change, having gained a plethora of coffee shops, swanky restaurants, and, praise be to the food gods, ice cream shops. I soon realised that a list wouldn’t do. A map wouldn’t do. And so a brand new website, NorEats, was born.

NorEats is a guide to independent food and drink in Norwich, with an associated map, both of which you can filter down to find what you want, whether that’s by choosing what you fancy, like coffee or somewhere casual to eat, or by your requirements, like somewhere that is vegan-friendly or wheelchair-accessible.
