Forget pitchers of woo woo and purple rain – there’s no excuse now there’s a swanky new cocktail bar in town, full of creative and surprising concoctions.
Another offering from the group that runs The Unthank Arms, The Trafford Arms, and William & Florence, Chambers sits where The Lawyer used to be, but with vastly different look and focus. The bar straddles the line between classy and comfy, with plenty of leather armchairs and cosy corners. But the decor isn’t where Chambers’ brilliance starts and ends: the true focus is those cocktails.
They’re inventive cocktails we’ve never seen before, with some ingredients we’ve never even heard of. It might seem pretentious to say mixology is an art, but here syrups, spirits, and even herbs are brought together to make truly unique drinks – and sometimes it’ll even come served with a little snack (try the amalfi!).
Not a cocktail person? There’s also a comprehensive wine list and the usual suspects for beer, in addition to rotating craft beers on draught and in bottles and cans.
