You can’t help but notice Alchemista as you head down St Gregorys Alley, thanks to the striking frontage and a peek of the steampunk-style drip machine that sits in the centre of the coffee shop.

Where they shine, however, is in their specialty drinks, with careful use of syrups, cream, and chocolate to create something unique. Alongside the hot coffees, Alchemista also does one of the very best iced coffees in the city, made from 8-hour slow-dripped coffee. For a little extra something, there’s even a coffee-based cocktail menu that’s bound to knock your socks off.
