Churros & Chorizo, Norwich Market

Churros & Chorizo, Norwich Market

Despite being relative newcomers to the city’s food scene, having launched this summer, C&C has made an impression fast. It’s no surprise – you can’t walk across the top of the market without catching a whiff of warm spices.

Churros & Chorizo, Norwich MarketThe stall, run by two Norwich natives, offers an ever-evolving menu of Spanish-influenced foods, including vegan and vegetarian options. The slow-cooker food is great for the winter months, doubling up as lunch and a hand warmer: think warming spices, a good helping of veg, and plenty of bread to soak up the sauce. You can also pick up Spanish deli items from the stall, including peppers and a range of chorizos.

And, of course, there’s the churros, which will be vegan as of February 2018. For just a few quid you can get your hands on that glorious fried dough, rolled in cinnamon sugar and nestled next to a pot of chocolate sauce. Although the guys at C&C do run a churros loyalty card, earning you a free portion for every six you buy, we understand if you don’t want to share ’em.
